Multicultural Council of Tasmania is a peak body statewide to represent culturally and linguistic communities and assist them to integrate and have a sense of belonging.
Harmony Week Tasmania is facilitated by Multicultural Council of Tasmania with assistance from Tasmanian Government. The purpose of Harmony week is to celebrate peace and harmony and welcome everyone respectfully. Children are the future and keeping that in mind Multicultural Council invites your school to participate in the poster making competition. The theme for the poster is “Everyone Belongs” which aligns with anti-bullying day 16th March which is a week before Harmony day on 21st March.
The posters who win the first and second prizes will be displayed at Town Hall in Hobart and Linc Tasmania to showcase the work done by respective school.
The theme “Everyone Belongs” conveys the message of equality and welcoming each and every individual as local Tasmanian.
The last date to submit the poster is 5th March 2018 and entries received after 11.55 pm on the day will not be entered.Download Form
